prompt_toolkit is a library for building powerful interactive command lines and terminal applications in Python. It can be a pure Python replacement for GNU readline, but it can be much more than that.

Install package

If this channel isn't in your workspace yet, add it first:

pixi workspace channel add --prepend https://prefix.dev/conda-forge

Then install the package:

pixi add prompt_toolkit

Install globally (CLI tools)

For packages that expose command-line tools, install globally to use them anywhere:

pixi global install --channel https://prefix.dev/conda-forge prompt_toolkit
