Support Python ABI3 packages on conda

Description

python-abi3 package can be used for supporting ABI3 packages on conda-forge. ABI3 supports building a C extension for one specific CPython version and make it work on any later version. (freethreading is not supported)

Install package

If this channel isn't in your workspace yet, add it first:

pixi workspace channel add --prepend https://prefix.dev/conda-forge

Then install the package:

pixi add _python_abi3_support

Install globally (CLI tools)

For packages that expose command-line tools, install globally to use them anywhere:

pixi global install --channel https://prefix.dev/conda-forge _python_abi3_support
