What are Trusted Publishers?

Trusted Publisher Management OpenID Connect (OIDC) provides a flexible, credential-free mechanism for delegating publishing authority for a Prefix.dev package to a trusted third party service, like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Google Cloud.

Prefix.dev users and projects can use trusted publishers to automate their release processes, without needing to use API tokens or passwords.

Trusted publishers are configured on a per-channel basis, and can be used to publish packages to your channel.
